Seen here, Jeanette Kirby, Bob and Anne Hall receiving a cheque for £1,500 on behalf of Liphook Day Centre.
The Day Centre (also known as the Peak Centre) has been helping the elderly residents of Liphook since 1982, a place to spend a day and share time with others and have a freshly cooked meal.
Clients are collected from their homes and returned again at the end of the day. During their time at the Day Centre they take part in quizzes, bingo, art and crafts, flower arranging and enjoy the company of others. They are taken on trips out during the year and have special birthday cakes made by the cooks on birthdays to help celebrate.
The Day Centre relies on donations and fundraising to keep the Centre open. Do consider supporting them directly. You can find out more here: http://www.liphookdaycentre.co.uk
