Bramshott Educational Trust was set up in 1987 using funds from the sale of The Bramshott Boys school in Limes Close, Bramshott.
The Trust provides financial support to young people under the age of 25, enabling them to attend school trips, sports coaching camps, music and dance courses, as well as professional training courses or to purchase items needed for business or education use.
Specific examples have been chef’s knives, tree surgery safety equipment, and books and equipment for a jewellery designer.
The grants often make the difference between a young person participating in a school trip or not going at all, or supporting an element of higher education or starting a new business.
Applications are open now and close on October 15th for those wishing to be considered.
At our recent coffee morning Bramshott Open Gardens pledged £1000 to support the work of the Trust with Sarah Sear, Angela Glass, Mary Eyre and Valentine Inglis Jones on hand to receive the cheque.
